Lego Mindstorm, Grades 4-8
With LEGO Mindstorms create customizable and programmable robots. It has an intelligent brickcomputer that controls the system, a set of modular sensors and motors, and Lego parts from the Technic line to create the mechanical systems. Our instructor would give a challenge to students every class and students would Brainstorm and solve with Mindstorm!
Lego Robotics, Grades K-3
Robotics/Advanced Robotics: Grade K – 3:
Robotics is a hands-on Program where students follow step by step instructions on laptop to build robot and the next step is to connect to the computer and program it.
In Advanced Robotics, students will have missing instructions on building robots but with their robotics knowledge they would still be able to build the robots using gears, motors and make it move with their program.

Reading your audience’s minds will be a piece of cake after you learn our “Mind Reading Paper” and “Dice Prediction” tricks! Some tricks will amaze even the most seasoned magicians, like when you turn a die into a bunch of smaller dice with the “Color Exploding Dice” trick! This class will focus on a few themes of picture making beyond the snapshot. There will be explorations in staging and creating images to make them your own.
There will be some critiques/discussions about your photographs in class and learning about photographers out in the world that might inspire you. There will be approximately 5 assignments throughout the 10 week course.

Hobby Quest Fashionable Fleece Design, Grades 2-8
Runway Quest’s “Fashionable Fleece!” Sign up for Hobby Quest’s Fashionable Fleece class, and create some one of a kind chic pieces perfect for your cold weather wardrobe! This session we are focusing on staying warm, and designing adorable skirts and vests or poncho made out of snuggly fleece to beat the chill. We’ll teach you how to take this favorite fabric and turn it into amazing, trendy pieces that you’ll want to wear! From designing and sketching to seeing your vision come to life, we’ll walk you through the process of sewing and decorating your pieces. At the end of the session, your friends and family will be amazed when they see you model your designs at our runway show!

Hobby Quest’s “Aviation Quest” Get ready to go on a high flying adventure and join us for Hobby Quest’s Aviation Quest! We’ll start our journey by going back in history and building the Boeing P-26, a super realistic model using a rubber band powered engine and depicting the first American allmetal production fighter used by the United States Army Air Corps in 1932! By next creating the Avatar, we’ll be coming back to today’s technology by building this lightweight, yet durable, free flight electric plane. The Avatar is on a quest to discover the world, and you’ll be along for the ride! The Batman hardly needs an introduction. This masked hero’s super cool helicopter will take him to new heights to help complete his quest! Those are just some of the amazing things you’ll build in Aviation Quest. If there is no school or an early dismissal,
all afterschool programs will be cancelled.
All classes require a minimum number to avoid cancellation.
Class size is limited to a maximum number of students.
Late Bus is available Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.
A $25 deposit is required with registration.
The balance of the fee is due by the first day of the session.
All costs prorated for 8th graders.
No refund two weeks after start date.
