Admissions Overview

Thank you for your interest in the Bi-Cultural Jewish Day School. At Bi-Cultural, our students learn critical thinking and problem solving skills in an exciting and nurturing environment. Our students are always being challenged both intellectually and spiritually to discover their passion that will help with their academic growth and commitment to Jewish values. This is accomplished through our integrated curriculum where students are motivated to be active learners and participants in our school community. While our student body comes from a wide range of Jewish backgrounds, when they come together at Bi-Cultural, everyone feels at home. Incoming students, whether they are beginning Pre-K or Kindergarten, or joining us in their elementary or middle school years, are embraced by the warmth of our teachers, administration, and fellow students. I encourage you to take the next step forward in creating an excellent education for your child by visiting our school for a personal tour or by attending one of our upcoming open houses-it is the best way to get to know us! Please contact me at 203-329-2186 ext: 1310 or email drafailov@bcds.org.
Sincerely,

Applications are accepted all year long under our rolling admissions program, but we do recommend that you start the application process in December for the following school year. Once your application has been submitted for Pre-K or Kindergarten, Bi-Cultural Day School will contact you to arrange the required meet and greet with our Associate Principal of Early Childhood, administered at the school. Students applying to the Elementary and Middle school will be contacted to schedule a personal half-day visit and assessment.
